I’ve been dabbling online for years, as many would be entrepreneurs I bought various courses, some good some not so good and went membership sites. However, it is a bit like learning a foreign language if you skip from one course to another you can learn a few phrases, but there is no process, if you stick to the good course have individual training, or living in the country and speak to the locals you will learn more and success to be faster.
If your mentor has a good tried and tested system that is producing good results you know if you follow it completely you will make money and be successful. If you learn a little here and a little there you will have some technical skills, but you will not have a working system. You can also suffer from too much information. On the way and give up on your dream of success.
How will you know you have the right mentor for you? When you look at the video of your Mentor would feel fired up, they are moving at a pace that suits you, or are they over simplify, or does it seem too complicated? Are they boring you to death with the chit chat, or get to the point and keep you interested? What suits one person will not appeal to others? Sometimes you have to re-watch the video to understand all the stages of making training videos so useful. While some prefer the written word or a hands-on workshop.
How is training delivered? Is a community of like-minded people you can join. Decide what is important to you and then find someone to train you any style you can relate to.
Probably one of the most important factors when you start online, the products are provided by your supervisor. Are they good value, excellent products that provide information that customers are looking for, you are also shown how to find customers in the first place. You need advice about the best way to market products
I have received a number of trainers over the years but the last I am making progress, I do not feel overwhelmed, I’m excited to learn new techniques; (the Internet is always changing, it worked last year may not continue to work in the future). I’ve finally found someone training style suits me. I belong to a community of like-minded people and love to spend time to grow my business. But you may not want to have a sense of community, everyone is different in their preferences. There are many affiliate programs listed on Google or forums, type in the niche that suits you and make the choice to test some products, etc.
Working at home is, is great. For us it is now winter in the warmer climate of Spain. The beauty of this business you need a little more than a laptop computer and a good Internet connection, so you can work almost anywhere. Whatever your dreams make them happen, work out a strategy and work plan, until you are what you are looking for.
